Mini Heroes Growing with the Miracle of Sleep

Because we know that healthy, high-quality sleep is a fundamental need for everyone. However, for premature babies, sleep is much more than that—it is a vital necessity.
Sleep Is Vital for Premature Babies
When little heroes arrive earlier than expected, they continue the development that could not be completed in the womb by sleeping in incubators. Continuous and protected sleep is of great importance for their healthy growth, development, and survival. Premature babies spend between 16 and 22 hours a day sleeping in order to complete their development. During this process, special solutions are required to improve sleep quality and support healthy bonding with their mothers.
We Are Here to Support the Development of Premature Babies Through Sleep and to Strengthen the Mother–Baby Bond
With this awareness, in 2022 we launched the *Mini Heroes Growing with the Miracle of Sleep* project in collaboration with the El Bebek Gül Bebek Association. Within the scope of the project, we provided fabric support for the production of nests and incubator covers, which play a critical role during the incubator period of premature babies. In addition, to support care processes in mother–baby adaptation rooms—where babies make their first contact with their mothers—and to help babies feel safe, we donated Juno Baby Mattresses. We produced special nests that recreate the warmth of the womb and delivered them to hospitals.
We have touched the lives of more than 6,000 babies and mothers.
Throughout this process, we focused not only on premature babies but also on ensuring that the first environments they encounter in life are healthy and safe. We took action to rebuild mother–baby adaptation rooms in regions affected by earthquakes. By renovating the adaptation rooms at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Hospital, Malatya Maternity and Children’s Hospital, Adıyaman University Training and Research Hospital, Diyarbakır Children’s Hospital, and most recently Trabzon Kanuni Training and Research Hospital, we supported families. To date, with donations of 209 incubator covers and 929 nests, we have reached approximately 6,110 premature babies.

As Yataş Bedding, with our *Mini Heroes Growing with the Miracle of Sleep* project, we will continue to work with all our strength to help little hearts beat stronger, to nurture mothers’ hopes, and to make families feel that they are not alone.
If Paws Are Happy, So Are We!
At Yataş Bedding, we believe that a healthy and good life is everyone’s right. With this understanding, through our *Happy Paws* project, we support the food and shelter needs of stray animals.
In collaboration with the Happy Paws Association, we took our first step on World Animal Protection Day in 2023.
This journey, which began with food donations and shelter visits by our employees, grew with broad participation.
Through influencers and media, we announced our call for support and converted points accumulated in the Yataş Bedding mobile application into donations for the nutrition and care of our pawed friends.
In April 2024, with our *Add Yours Too* campaign, we mobilized even more people. Every photo shared while feeding stray animals turned into food support for them.
Within one year:
* We donated 8.5 tons of food.
* 516,000 people supported our campaign.
* 5 tons of food were delivered to 20 shelters.
We dream of a better world for our pawed friends and will continue to support them.
